At AusIS, recently a flip classroom learning engament was conducted for the second unit of Business, "Human Resource Management". Led by Miss Farhana Mofiz, the session was conducted by two bright students, Ariyaan Ahmed and Amina Bushra.
The flip classroom method is an innovative approach to teaching that involves students learning material outside of the classroom and then coming to class to apply and discuss what they have learned. This allows students to take ownership of their learning and engage in more meaningful discussions with their peers and teachers.
In this particular flipped classroom, students covered the sub-chapters 2.1-2.6, which included functions and evolution of human resource management, organizational structure, leadership and management, motivation, organizational (corporate) culture, and industrial/employee relations.
The session was highly engaging and interactive, with students participating in active discussions, and even role-playing exercises. The students were encouraged to think critically about the material and apply it to real-world scenarios, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of the concepts.
One of the highlights of the flip classroom was the active participation of the students. Ariyaan and Amina, who led the session, did an excellent job of facilitating discussions and keeping the energy level high throughout the class. They provided relevant examples and encouraged their peers to share their thoughts and opinions.
Overall, the flip classroom for the second unit of Business was a huge success. Through innovative and effective teaching methods, the students were engaged and able to learn the subject material in a fun and enjoyable way. As a result, many new concepts were acquired and it was an overall positive experience.
