In addition to the Pohela Boishakh concert on the 11th of May, the DP-1 students held a CAS
Fair where they created stalls and sold food and games. Well spoiler alert, it was a major
success! Teachers and students of all grades came to visit the stalls and they were buying
everything. The gaming stall held by Adian and Mashnoon was never empty. We should have
really brought more food.
The CAS fair was a fulfilling experience for all the DP-1 students as we are going to donate the
profits to charity. This was quite an experience for all the students of DP-1 as there was a lot of
work needed to be done in short amounts of time especially with the crowds. Having to manage
the food efficiently while managing the change was quite a challenge for all the stalls but
thankfully the students managed to keep proper accounts.
This was the first time DP-1 students created a stall like this and we should have been more
prepared for the tremendous crowds, especially the Primary and pre-primary students. Since
some stalls did run out of stock pretty fast, we should have been more aware of the amount of
students in the school. But overall it was very successful, there was no one without food so
there was no worries about that. Everyone seemed to have a very fun time.
