Glimpse into the Future of IB DP Year 2 Students

Only a few months left till Batch of 2025 completes their 2 years of the rigorous IBDP course. This has shaped them to tackle any challenges, with creativity and resilience, in their upcoming university lives. Speaking of which, the DP-2 students have been given the task to share their future university plans with the Career counsellor, Mr. Hasin Ishrak, and the DP coordinator, Ms. Pony Chacko, to further support them in their future endeavours.

The students had showcased some insightful presentations, along with their current goals and actions, their preferred universities and additional information, which portrayed their interest and diligence towards their future plans. The presentation was followed up by a question-and-answer session, but nothing to worry about! It was not an IB type question, but simple questions to further understand as to whether students are aware of their choices.

This task not only allowed students to research upon their areas of interest and set a plan for their future, but also gave an idea regarding their selected universities and what they might have to offer. With further sessions like this, the students will be set for their university journey……....that is after they complete the next challenge, The Final IBDP Exam.

This will be the first semester final in DP 1 so it will definitely be a new experience for the students of Year 11. This examination is not to be taken lightly, it is crucial for our university applications. Thankfully there are ways to increase our chances of scoring successfully. Revision: This is a pretty straightforward and obvious response, but it is the most effective. This exam will cover 3 months worth of information and there is no way anyone remembered all that. It should be a priority to go over the topics from each subject.  Revision can be done in many different ways, the most effective approach instead of just reading old notes and cramming all that, take new notes. This time we won't have the rush of following the lecture and taking notes. This way we can take important notes and know what to focus on.  Past Papers: As we were info...
